Welcome to my Pet Information Site!

This website is designed to provide you with information and links I've compiled from a variety of sources
to help answer my "most frequently asked questions" by pet guardians;
I hope that you will find this information helpful.

Veterinary medicine is an actively changing and growing field,

and new information and treatments become available every day.
In some cases, new studies will show that currently used methods are no longer the "best recommended" options.
You should follow the advice given to you by YOUR veterinarian,
and have an educated dialogue with him or her about your pet's health.

The latest mass-media craze or heavily marketed information by retailers may not have any scientific basis!
I want to make sure you get accurate information from your veterinarian,
and not information from a self-proclaimed expert on Facebook, from Google,
or from a well-intentioned but misinformed friend.

This information is by no means meant to be comprehensive, to be used in place of regular veterinary care,
or to supplant what your veterinarian recommends.  Always follow the advice of your veterinarian.

For any medical questions or concerns about your pet, please contact your regular veterinarian!
Do not email send email to this website for an emergency!
